is a privately owned company created in 2016 that specializes in the processing of electronic payments and value-added transactional services.
Categorized as a Financial Technology Service Provider Fintech, Accepta seeks to maximize the customer’s experience and value by continuously improving, optimizing, and automating the delivery and use of electronic payment processing related financial services.
We offer solutions for the wholesale, online, retail, restaurant, recurring and mail order/telephone order environments through our own proprietary and third-party solutions.
Accepta LLC focuses in providing innovative and customized/tailored solutions for all business sizes, from corporate solutions, application developers, to smaller businesses.
Our Board of Directors
Accepta brings the perfect mix of expertise and business acumen. The management team and founders have extensive experience in the payments and financial services industry. The team encompasses primarily developing and linking Strategy, Innovation and Technology, while directing overall business structures that support growth and deliver purposeful innovation to customers. Among the areas of expertise are business & technology strategy, operations, program & project management, solutions/services & product development, and commercial/sales lifecycles.

Cuenta con sobre 30 años experiencia en sistemas de pagos, trabajando para Banco Popular de Puerto Rico, GM Group y EVERTEC. Responsable por el desarrollo de negocios de la Red ATH desde 1998 hasta 2014. Entre otras responsabilidades, dirigió el negocio de adquiriencia de Banco Popular de Puerto Rico (2000 -2004) y fue responsable por la operación del programa de la “Tarjeta de Familia” por varios años. Del 2000 al 2014 fue director del Consejo de CardNet, compañía de adquiriencia líder en República Dominicana.<br><br>
Desde el 2015 se desempeña como consultor especializado en pagos y tecnología. Es socio y presidente de la junta de directores de ACCEPTA y miembro de la junta consultiva de CAPEX Financial. Además, se ha desempeñado como profesor de Derecho Mercantil en la Universidad de Puerto Rico, Recinto de Bayamón.
Graduado de la escuela de derecho de la Universidad Interamericana y admitido para ejercer la abogacía en PR desde el 1992. Obtuvo su bachillerato de administración de empresas con concentración en Finanzas de Saint Joseph’s University en Filadelfia en 1987.

Luis is a co-founder and a Managing Member of PCM. His primary responsibilities include portfolio management, underwriting and investor relations. Luis is a member of PCM’s Investment Committee.
Prior to founding PCM, he served as Treasurer, Head of Corporate Development and Head of Investor Relations of EVERTEC Inc., (NYSE: EVTC), one of the largest payment processors in Latin America. Luis was a part of the Executive team that successfully completed an IPO followed by two secondary offerings raising over $1.5B in the capital markets.
Before joining EVERTEC, Luis was Special Advisor of EUROBANK. In that role, he assisted in the development of the business plan, capital plan, liquidity plan, financial models and other procedures to address regulatory deficiencies prior to the bank’s closure.
Before EUROBANK, Luis was Portfolio Manager at UBS for all of UBS PR’s open-end funds, money market fund and IRA Funds.
Prior to UBS, Luis spent 10 years at FirstBank Puerto Rico, (NYSE: FBP), among the top 50 Banks in the US. Luis was Executive Vice President, Chief Investment Officer & Treasurer, responsible for managing a $6B investment portfolio and a $5B derivatives portfolio.
He is a founding member of the Puerto Rico Investment Management Society and is a Member of the Board of Directors of Ashford Presbyterian Community Hospital, Accepta LLC and Abartys Healthcare, LLC. Luis has a B.S. from University of Sacred Heart (USC).
